I am writing a novel of 30000 Words and I am posting bits and chunks of it in my blog. I am so happy to have been read and liked.

The Novel is called: WORD BECAME FLESH and it is an allegory of the human and the divine in Christ Jesus.

I have denounced all ties with Occult and Satanism and I am fully redeemed in Christ. The Bible is a fantastic Book giving new insights every day. The Bible is the best work of Literature. It does not mean that I don’t encounter temptations; I do, in the walk of life and when I do I rebuke it by the blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is POWER and demons flee. You can heal people with the Blood of Jesus. I have stopped dallying in dating sites and I devote my attention wholeheartedly to my wife. During my trials and tribulations she has stood strong as a rock. I have had multiple affairs and she has forgiven me and given me her heart.

I saw two trees flowered like music in the garden. One was purple flowered and shone in opulence. The other called as Vishu tree Cassia Fistula had bearings of yellow. Vishu is a New Year festival celebrated in Kerala. There’s something called Vishu Keni and it means giving coins for luck throughout the year. There’s also a bumper lottery draw. I wonder who will be the winner this year. Yes, Jehovah has made nature so beautiful. My heart sung a song of Joy. Christ has told me appreciate nature taking joy in little things of life. My heart underwent a passionate catharsis and I felt like I am making love. God is a mystic, engineering nature’s creation.

After coming to God Christ, I have stopped looking lecherously at women. Before coming to Christ I was a lecher. I remember Christ’s words: ‘if your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out’

Joyce was a writer who tried to wean himself away from Catholicism and his writing became an objet d’ art. To what extent was he successful? Remarkable are his epiphanies in prose. Joyce was a person who experimented with the novel. The Ulysses is an epic novel, book of 800 pages covering a life of 12 hrs. I have written a novelette called Fictopia, a novelette lasting only a few seconds. As a writer I am always in search for the avant garde. Joyce was master of streams of consciousness a technique to express the inner consciousness of the writer.

There’s a paradigm shift talking place with the Novel of Postmodernism. There is very little importance given to the plot. I am sorry to say that pulp fiction, easy-go-entertainment-readers are still popular with the masses. Novels should become reader-interpreting texts. A postmodern novel is a philosophical novel of ideas, of innovation, a literature of new idioms, neologisms, new figures of speech, of playing with the language. A postmodern novel is a work of art.

Allegorical Pun

I have discovered a New Figure of Speech called the Allegorical-Pun. Now what is an allegory? It is clothing the language with symbols. The pilgrim’s progress is a classical example of an allegorical novel. A pun is a play of words. My allegorical pun is this. Example: The Lamb became the Lamp. The Lamb is the mortal body of Christ and the Lamp is his divinity. Christ while living on earth balanced his divinity and mortality.

The Raven that Fed Elijah

There is a story in the Old Testament of the Prophet Elijah who had to go into hiding. At that time God send a raven to feed him with meat and bread. As an Idiom it means a God that will satisfy all our material needs. My life is that of a Raven that fed Elijah.
