Numbness

Numbness

A Poem by olivia

The feeling of numbness can be described in many ways

We all feel this, even if you don’t want to admit it

Being numb is like a dark cloudy day

Dull and boring

The feeling of complete nothingness

Or being in a dark room

Unsure of your surroundings but sure of the silence

Its like staring at a wall for hours

Can you imagine being paralyzed

Not being able to move

A complete loss of feeling

That’s numbness

It’s a normal thing

But can be the worst thing imaginable.

If numbness continues unabated for two weeks, it's called depression. Then it's dangerous.
