I had you

I had you

A Poem by olivia

I had you

I loved you

I gave you all of me

Whatever I had

It was yours

All of my love

It was all yours

Only yours

But you left

You took me with you

Yet here I sit

Alone

Broken

Wishing you were here

Wishing I still had your heart

You had me

You left me

You don’t love me

You took all I had

Whatever I had

All of my love

All of my strength

My happiness

You took it

I had you

I love you

You left me

Love is hard yet like a train that hits you everyday. I read once There are two types of people in your life. One will run a finger down the index of who you are and jump straight to the parts of you that peak their interest. The other will take his time reading everyone of your chapters and maybe fold the corners of you that inspired them the most. You will meet these three it's a given. It is the third you'll never see coming. That one person won't only finishes your sentences, but keeps the book. You write beautifully touching pain in a unique way. Keep writing sincerely your friend in poetry and life
