Look at the time

Look at the time

A Poem by olivia

It’s been 3816 hours

It’s been 159 days

It’s been 22 weeks

It’s been 5 months

Since you left me

Since you took my heart and threw it away

You have yet to tell me why

Why you decided

To pack up everything

And remove yourself from my life

Now I watch you

Everyday

Walking with your friends

Laughing with them

Looking at me and not saying anything

I can still pick you out of a crowd

I’ve memorized the way your body looks

I can hear your voice through 100 people yelling

Cause that soothing sound is embedded in my brain

I can still feel your lips on mine when I kiss him

I can still feel the warmth of your body

I can feel your soft hands when he touches me

And your soft head gently laying on my chest

I see you when I look in his eyes

And I have yet to decide if that’s good

Or extremely bad

Whenever something happens

I fear I’ll lose him too

I fear that he too

Will pack up and leave

And never talk to me again

But

It’s been

It’s been 3816 hours

It’s been 159 days

It’s been 22 weeks

It’s been 5 months

Since you left me

And I still love you

And I’m still waiting

For that one day

One second

One minute

You decide you still love me too
