With A Glass Half Full

It's funny
If you see the glass of water half full, your supposed to be the optimist
And if you see that glass of water half empty, then your the pessimist
But there should'nt be anything wrong if you choose to see it full
your not wrong to think so hopefully
It doesn't mean your naive
Too many times have I heard people justify pessimism
For its bad rep
It's because I think realistically, it's because I've gone through it
Because...you've gone through it....
That's the answer
Then it must be twice as hard to think it isn't as bad as it could be
If the positive way you think isn't for you then at least it can save someone else
The optimist can only believe for the best
When it isn't
With as much faith
As much strength they can show
To go on, to see a good thing in a world that isn't
Because it has to be ok
At least
That's what they hope

I think conclusion is all a big matter of perspective than facts. There's nothing wrong with being the pessimist if it helps your position. Sometimes we need to play the 'cynic' to keep our feet grounded. But also, it is sad life if we have no belief in a better tomorrow:)
