Not A Pretty Little Picture

Not A Pretty Little Picture

A Poem by littlewonders

Listen up,
Don't you EVER think no one knows how you feel,
Don't you dare deny that you still feel this way sometimes,
I know you look to someone or somewhere for answers
but
You won't always find the truth in your favorite book,
And you and I know that the people next to you,
Won't care as much when your on to something,( you and i always are)
What is that something?
Well, I can paint you a pretty little picture and say
its the burning depths of your heart,
the storm
thundering,
clattering
in your head
But listen, storm maker
learn from truth,
those feelings
are not little pretty pictures
The way you thunder, storm maker, when you cry alone,
You might yell as loud as you can but it doesn't make a sound
You want a real connection when your like that,
 don't lie
because i know you,
You keep it inside
deep down, smiling out to the world or keeping quiet like fall
deeper deeper down behind your pretty little picture
A storms a brewin'
And you build a wall that would put the layers built on the earth's core to shame
I won't give you a pretty answer
Pick yourself up fast,
because all that time that you stopped caring about the world around
the world stopped caring too
we got a system
life goes on
and after reading this
so do you...
