Tidal Dance

Tidal Dance

A Poem by Lady Wolf

The tide comes in

The tide goes out

In a dance

Choreographed by the moon

A stage of sand

A dress of the lightest foam

The music

Wind, surf, seagull cries

The longest running ballet

In the history of the world

Ever dancing, ever cycling

On one side of the world,

Then,

On the other

In a superbly smooth

Dance of chance

That isn’t
