A Brief Explanation

Please read this first. Though I think the title is rather self explanatory.

This story is set in the future, but most of it occurs on a different planet with a different race of beings. I am not one of those writers that sits down and writes out everything starting with the first page and keeps going till they hit the last page. I'm too ADD for that. Instead, what you have here are a bunch of snippets in no particular order which may or may not actually get put into the book. Just thought I'd warn ya'll now. It's also why tenses and point of views change from chapter to chapter. I'll get that sorted out and smoothed out eventually.

 

The titles to the 'chapters' are mostly to let me know what the scene is and the numbers are a rough estimate of the order they're in on the timeline. The story is also rated mature because eventually there is love and babies and what comes between love and babies. Heh.

 

The main characters are not human. They are what I call Wyverns. They essentially look like anthropomorphic felines with large bat-like wings and prehensile tails. Also, a large portion of the population has mental powers.

wow. I saw this in the 'unreviewed' section for soo long, I just had to get it outta there, lol. Just kiddin. It seems a little drastic though, however, I am almost certain that if you stick with it, the reader would adapt to all your little details, much like star trek fans did to star trek. I like how you plan to write, I'll have to see if the end result works though. Anyway, I'll get to the, hopefully, first chapter soon. Keep writing, one day that book'll get published.
