Last Goodnight

Last Goodnight

A Poem by Lady Wolf

He kisses her gently
A sigh escapes her lips
A lover long awaited
She smiles
And reclines in the night
Welcoming his soothing embrace
He pulls her from her bed
And she rises once again
As hand in hand
They walk
Toward the sunny moonlight
Leaving all others behind
In nightfall

Goodnight
