I can not win

I can not win

A Poem by Jenn

Thought I was ready . I thought wrong.

The pain is to deep. Wounds seep.

Each rejection cause a reaction .

I filled my self up with hope and charm.

Now I sit alone waiting for the phone.

I hear the words come from his mouth once more

Baby I am drunk will be home.

I text I can not take this anymore

His best friend gets on the phone

Tells me I am better off alone

Honey baby love of my life

I want to be your wife

But sometimes what I want is not right

I pray and write

I want you to see the light

No way I can win this fight
