“Are you happy” Keith asked Kim. Kim’s face turned bright red like a tomato. Blood rushed to her head. She wished he would just leave her alone. She answers him in a soft meek voice “no”. Her answer was short and sweet like herself. Keith continued on his work. They both were servers. Keith always did a super duper good job trying to impress Kim. Kim would give him the cold shoulder. Kim was married with two kids and she did have a crush on him but, there love was forbidden. Keith was only a kid him self. He was a little over weight, however; he could charm women. Each and every dame loved to work with him. They all had his number. Kim just could not get him out of her head. She would toss and turn at night. She would pray and read but, he always popped in her head day and night. How could this be she wonder when she came home from worked every night to her husband. The sight of him made her sick. When she looked into his baby blue eyes all she saw was lies. When she looked at his smile all she saw was broken promises . All her dreams went up in smoke. She felt trapped in a life she never asked for.

One night she told a little lie for a ride on the wild side . She planned on hanging out with Keith . Her intentions were innocent and sweet. She needed to know what she saw in this man . Sleeping with him was never her plan. What Kim learned that night was Keith was a man who would listen and understand . Hours turned into days and days into weeks . Before, they knew it love struck . Now the excitement of being naughty and a secret became guilt and hurt . Kim ended up getting a divorce and Keith could never decide if Kim was worth all the work . At twenty there is a lot of life ahead and did not know what women he wanted to wed. They said there good byes . Now they know it is not always greener or the other side.
