Nature Speaks

Nature Speaks

A Poem by Little Mouse
"

Inspired by a Heron flying by.

"

Truth brings sanity and peace

A great release

God has us in his hands and gives us signs

Especially when we heed to him, other times he is silent

Like the Heron, a wading bird, frequenting oozy rivers

Yet so rare to see

Oddly he gives me a Heron at key times

And today I saw one fly over and away.

---Is a great line, it really is. Once in a while I read something like this and I feel like there are others who are naturally invested in seeing things others dont.. good read, nice work. bravo

You did nto overdo it, which is hard to accomplish. Nicely done, especially the line of 'other times He is silent'. Truely, though He knows why.

I have had crows on my mind today, for many explainable reasons. They have featured more than any other bird in my life. I want to point this out to you [line 4]:

'...we when...' instead of {When we}.

The opening line really tells us what a stark and profound statement is being made. That, along with the idea, one I have prescribed to on many occasions - and still allow my hope to keep alive - of signals being given to us from the man himself, to show us the way, our way, makes this something more than just food for thought.

I have whistled to birds before. I asked a friend if they did the same. The reply was "Yeah and they never whistle back, the little blighter's." Followed by a chuckle. I was about to confess they did.

Nice to read you again.
Take care.

Herons have been my thing lately. Twice I have seen two flying together last month. It is very rare to see them together since they are solitary birds. The heron always gives me peace when I see him standing so very still.
Very lovely write.

oo thats pretty neat how this peice was inspired by something as simple as a bird you randomly saw :) haha. I love going out and taking a walk to find inspiration for writing-- I always do whenever I go to the park.
