Nature Speaks

Nature Speaks

A Poem by Little Mouse
"

Inspired by a Heron flying by.

"

Truth brings sanity and peace

A great release

God has us in his hands and gives us signs

Especially when we heed to him, other times he is silent

Like the Heron, a wading bird, frequenting oozy rivers

Yet so rare to see

Oddly he gives me a Heron at key times

And today I saw one fly over and away.

It's short but thats not bad. I thought it was really great and the opening two lines really brought me in, and to me made this poem. It was really light and hopeful, which is nice.

I like the "Oddly he gives me a Heron at key time
And today I saw one fly over and away".

It seems like a key line in the poem, in that the reader understands an impending reason behind this key time in the poet's life.

Very beautiful to say the least. It is short yet it lingers in your head longer than a boring 3 page poem. Job well done.

I love the way you used birds as the animal here... Birds are like symbols of freedom and being carefree... True enough, there's something so airy about your poem, almost ethereal...
I really like reading it, the ending was perfect.
Keep it up! :)
