Feeling Flow

Feeling Flow

A Poem by Little Mouse
"

Ebbs and flows, finally posting older stuff. Perhaps this one should be turned to song.

"
Feeling me
Feeling you

The time is near
A time for love
A time for loss
A time to gather
At the cross

Roads will lead me
Back to you
Not sure how
Not sure when

I surrender to you
Time and again

Take me to your
Highest mount
Breathe me in
Lift me up
Soaring high
Gliding by

Feeling me
Feeling you

Falling away
Forever changed.

Author's Note

Little Mouse
I surrender, again.
If you feel desperate for someone, fill the void with God. Put him in that place. It may start to make sense. I do this with love songs. Until you do, you will continue feeling like you are seeking something or someone, and will have trouble filling this space no matter what you do. But even with resolve to do this, knowing he is there doesnt always feel like he is there. He may seem out of reach or not easily seen or foundbut always believe he is there.

We all fail. It's human. Like you, I'm so thankful for atonement.

Wow!!:) I love this piece alot:) Its so peacful and intimate:) Its also very inspiring and it reminds me of the right balance in life: God at the center, with all the other pieces falling around Him:)
Kudos to you!!:)

Would be a really lovely song. I would run a lot during my early 20s, didnt know where I was going. He usually always foundd me, or I am just running in circles and ended up running into him. lol. I like what you say in your notes about the painter. Nice write.

The religious tone...one you know well. I like the part

Roads will lead me
Back to you
Not sure how
Not sure when

Keeps you grounded and make the piece not come off as preachy. BTW...is that Jesus in the picture? If so, why is he upside down. Was that some artistic purpose?

This is beautiful, girl. Such perfect rhythm and rhyme and flows wonderfully. Light hearted and yet profound.
Very well done. :-)
