A visit to words
To clarify the past Beyond all reason My insanity justified Human weakness frail Puzzling depths of connection At what cost for happiness Paying for potential Realization of purpose Love beyond belief Life shortens Gentleness expands Failure of words takes every ounce Inaction saves lives, or does it? Tucking away leaves wrinkles Damaging tracks unresolved Efforts to press on Ironing out backbreaking Suffering for glory Righteousness brings conflicted pain The force endless What have I become? ... A Writer In the meantime, a visit to past words Invigorates wrinkles, ironing some out. Little Mouse February 23, 2008 © 2020 Little Mouse |
