Major change took me away, for now.

You and me have taken a break

I took you for granted

Walking by you everyday

Doing other things instead

Making you wait another day

Unplayed.

 

Now I miss the black and white

Keys, sounds, stringing together song.

 

The longing will bring me back to you

I promise it won’t be long.

 

I’ll be out of practice

I know you won’t mind

I’ll find my way among the keys

And hold the pedal long

By the time I come back to you

I’ll have a different song.

Aw, that was cute! ^_^ the first few lines reminded me of my piano: psh! Nobody plays it all that much. Now, it's in need a tuning so badly that my mom wants to get rid of it alltogether and replace it with a keyboard. "I want it to have the sound and touch of a real piano." She says. I say, "Good luck finding one like that." I can tell just by your bio that you're a really good and professional writer! Do you have anything published? If so, that's great! I want to get my books published soon, but ah! I've been rejected once so far....
