Running a Circus

Running a Circus

A Poem by littlemiss56

So I wish I ran a circus
It would give me easy purpose
With a little less confusement
And a lot more fun amusement

Instead of being Mum
The one whose on the run
It could be so much fun
I'd drink up all the rum

I can hear the people saying
Murmuring and dismaying
That the grass is never greener
As a Mum it sounds so meaner

But today I've been mad
And even abit sad
So simple it could be
A circus, clowns and me

a poem about escapism...it shows so much of tiredness and sadness, when life gets too much to handle. I would love to read more like this.
