The Cemetery (Emmi's POV)

He brought me to a cemetery. It isn't so bad, I suppose. 

"I like the peacefulness here, after my mom died when I just couldn't handle stuff I"d come out here to just get away from it all," Jasper said. 

That melted my heart into a little puddle. 

"That sounds what I need," I confessed. 

"I figured, moving to a new school in the middle of the semester is hard," Jasper smiled. Oh god, I love his smile. 

He opened his door, then came around and opened mine. What a gentleman! 

"Thank you, Jasper."

"You're welcome."

I went and stood by a very climbable tree. 

"I want to climb this tree," I told Jasper. 

"Okay, but only if I can too," he smirked. Why does he have to be so adorable?

"Okay," I said as I climbed up to a branch, and he climbed to the one next to mine.

My hair lifted in the breeze. I then noticed him looking at me. 

"What?"

"Nothing, it's just, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen," Jasper answered. 

The breeze swiped his maple syrup brown hair in his eyes. I laughed, and tried to swipe it back from his eyes. He looked at me with his beautiful green eyes. He touched his hand to mine. 

"Emmi-" 

"Emerald, where the hell have you been?" I heard a familiar voice. I looked over my shoulder and saw my Uncle. 

"Uncle, I can explain..."

"The school called and said you had skipped class," he continued, "And you were with a boy, nonetheless!" 

"I'm sorry sir it was all my idea," Jasper interjected. 

"Jasper!" I whispered. 

"Don't worry about it, okay. Just leave with your uncle. Here is my number," Jasper whispered back. He wrote his number on my hand with heart. I had to smile. 

"Okay." 

I jumped down from the tree. My uncle winced as if he thought I would smash into a million pieces. 

"Let's go, Emerald," My uncle said.
