The New Girl (Jasper's POV)A Chapter by RebelSecrets
The late bell finally rung. I looked up, to see the new girl. She had blonde hair that is dyed red at the ends. She was obviously not from here. She is wearing a flower tank top under a military green jacket and skinny jeans and is very pale, with a few tattoos, and a lip piercing.
"This is Emerald, the only seat left is next to Jasper," The teacher, Mrs. Rollins said. "Okay, and I prefer to be called Emmi," She replied as she went to sit down next to me. Up close, it is obvious she's beautiful, but there is something about her. She looked up at me then, went back to writing in a notebook. "Do you want me to show you around?" I whispered to her. "Um, that's alright. I can find my way around," She answered. "What are you writing?" "It's nothing," Emmi replied. "C'mon let me see," I said as I made a grab for her notebook. I grabbed it and was immediately confused, it was written in another language. "Emmi, what language is this?" I asked. "Romanian," She replied. "Why are you writing in Romanian?" "It's my first language, and people here can't read it." "You're Romanian?" "Sort of." "What does that mean?" I asked. "That it's none of your business," Emmi answered. The bell rung, as she stuck her notebook and pen in her bag. I can't explain it, but I just had the urge to ask her out, and I did. "Emmi, wait up!" She was halfway down the hallway when she turned around. I caught up to her. "Hey, Emmi, I was wondering if you wanted to ditch with me?" I saw the surprise in her eyes. "Uh, sure." "Okay." "Where are we going?" She asked as she was playing with the locket around her neck. "You'll see." I took her to my car, and opened the door for her. Then hopped in myself. "Seriously, where are we going?" She asked. "Just be patient," I replied. "Okay," She said just as we pulled up to our destination. The cemetery. © 2015 RebelSecrets |
