Why is it so.

Why is it so.

A Poem by indu

Broken wings, she has.

Yet she is trying to fly away.

She wants to be born again.

Why is it so..

The day hasn’t ended.

But She wishes for expiration.

With the eyes closed,

she searches for the good times. In vain.

Why is it so..

The new day, a new life. Isn’t it always welcoming?

Hope, is all she wants.

Hands held together,

as in a prayer.

Why is it so..

It’s raining and the clouds are gathering..

And she waits for something estrange.

Life is in drain for her

Sitting by road’s side, with broken wings.

Why is it so..
