I'll Wait For You My Love

I'll Wait For You My Love

A Poem by little-known

I'll wait for you my love

There is a room
Inside me
Hidden towards the back of my mind
You could call it a memory
I keep it locked with a golden key
It sparkles by a translucent light
Hazy glow of loveliness
I escape here not often
Never wanting the addiction
Of this release

This is where I wait
I wait here for you
Beautiful Timeless vortex
Verging on the edge of wakefulness
I wait here
For you

I stand on the outskirts of me
For a chance
For a breath
For one word
I'd come to you
I would

As silence bounces off the walls
Radiating off the stillness
Within me a trumpet sounds
Consuming the darkness

Imaginary scenes play
Of us
In love
Holding hands
Staring in each other's eyes
Not doing much
Just staring

As we were
As we used to be
Before we grew up
Before responsibilities
Before life consumed us
The moment
Before us.
