In Kentucky, the blond-haired girls are half-lucky.

Horses race with spaded hearts in Kentucky.

The first light bulb was lit in Kentucky.

The rabbit cooks here swear they’re not junkies.

I heard Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky.

The “Happy Birthday” song was written in Kentucky.

Mother’s Day was first observed in Kentucky.

This poem is being judged by a judge in Kentucky.

How do you pronounce Louisville?  Like a slugger.

Kentucky Fried Chicken & mint julep invoke passion. 

In Kentucky, the residents are friendly.  Even those

With PhD's.  I guess they know how to communicate.   

After all, the radio was invented in Kentucky.

In Kentucky, the bluegrass is actually green.

In Kentucky, banjo players earn chests of money.

Blue skies & oil wells paint the portrait of Kentucky.

There’s also an open senate seat in Kentucky.

The Muhammad Ali Museum is visited in Kentucky.

Post-it notes originated from Kentucky.

For the record, these lines were scribbled in Ohio.

On a Greyhound bus 50 miles to Kentucky.

I guess this is one of those poems that were meant to inform you. I didn't do research about Kentucky but I trust that alot of the info you gave was accurate. Just thinking that all that stuff happened is Kentucky intrigues me and I get excited cause I'm learning. I'll do my research later.
