The void demands payment when we look into its awfulness - even if we were unwilling voyeurs there's a price extracted - we will never be the same again.
Gregory Im sorry but this didn't really say the void to me - the darkness, yes - loneliness, yes but the void that many of us know is far more terrible.

this was one of my old poem that i found and had forgotten about and i found it again while scrolling through my sophomore year poetry anthology. you dont have to say sorry, there is nothing to be sorry about. i actually thank you for your review/comment because it tells me i need to practice more in my poetry and understanding the subject of my writing so i can improve it more.
