A Poem by Davidgeo
"

a human syndrome me thinks

"
there is a story
in my simple mind
with a name familiar
it does play out
always and again
in the next way similar
there is another story
with a name very familiar
from a similarly simple mind
it plays
and plays
in a way familiar
again
and again
there is a story
quite similar
with a name familiar
always
and again
another human story
the same it reads
but, slightly different it seems

I love this and it's interesting because I have been pondering something similar (but it may not be similar at all) there are not many human narratives are there? We all experience pretty much the same thing. There is no escaping pain and suffering in our lives - that's commonplace - it's more how we deal with it. But that side of things is not what I am talking about here.

The true essence of things - we are the same. We have shared experiences - and how silly we are that we choose to seperate ourselves from each other, in fact from nature itself.

We so easily forget we are actually nature ... but we create our own disconnect ... and in that disconnect our good friend suffering arises ...

You poem also reminded me of how many different realities there are out there and that everything is happening all at once - but I am not going to say more about that as you could probably articulate it a hellava lot better than me :D
