avoids the insanity

of their indoctrination

enjoys the party

for what it's worth

while one can

adrift and conscious

lost in a crowd

adrift in our ocean

our normal sometimes struggles

with the normalization

together

we try so hard to see together

how we are so alone

even together

it just might hurt a little

we might have to lie to one another

but it's something we'll get used to

here alone together

a bunch of brains in their jars

confused and alone

together forever

avoiding insanity

totally normally
