While this seems to be written about a more specific kind of indulgence, i feel like its relatable in a more general sense as far as trying to find happiness while maintaining an open heart to others in such a brutal world. There's a lot to get out of this. Nicely done.

American humans are treating the experience poorly. We've lost a great deal of substance in our pursuit of comfort and material success. Most of us are mentally ill to some degree here. I think there is a reason why most other countries don't find the "mid life crisis" to be a relatively normal occurrence. America has too much money to be this crazy. The rest of the world shoulda never gave us ....... money
