the dark is much darker than we can think

do not stare into it

you will become this incarnate

darker than thought

eventually

a shining light of pure evil

  

it might just be god

you may be the devil

it might be the same thing

  I have no idea what I am looking at

  you may just get lost in the fantasy

If you stay in the dark for a long time, after a while you get used to seeing in the dark. And until you see the light again, you think you love the darkness. The darkness becomes a part of you and draws you in.

It's hard not to love that song am I right?!

I think if we behaviorally follow the "light" it will accumulate into an inevitably good person barring bad luck. And the same thing goes with the "dark" and becoming a bad person. The real problem is what those terms mean objectively. Most of us can be put in a circumstance where "good" and "bad" become tools of survival, they lose meaning beyond that. All humans get pretty gross under extreme duress. Everyone of us. We should have empathy for each other over this... Jesus would agree. Probably.
