"

more less perfect versions of perfection

"
everyone dies
still we strive
terminally flawed
still everyone tries
every day
every evening
to one degree or another
irrefutably alive
one way or the other
terminally flawed
our own version of perfection

knowing the end
but still trying anyway

f*****g Christ,
Jesus was crazy

evolution in story

hmm. thought provoking. we all think we're doing it right. i have perfectionist tendencies which can be both a blessing and a curse. double-edged swords cut both ways. as my muse thoreau wrote long ago, ""Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something."
