Communication

 I return again

"people do this to themselves"

 she says to me

"so you've seen it for yourself?"

 and then again,

we are talking to ourselves

 "we've always been!"

a stranger shouts

I don't know what to say

 "we've all heard this one before..."

I am reminded

"yes", we begin to remember

how we did this to ourselves
