my eyes hurt

because all I see are lies

under perpetually dark skies

enveloped in this s****y sound

my ears burn

and the bathroom hurts

because my food now is poison

hiding in between the flavor

and now my brain begins to rot

because the world is in decay

and no... it could not possibly be me

not from here

that is blasphemy

we will never surrender

we'd all rather suffer

our super hero fantasy

this was in fact quite well put together, meter wise.
I am not generally fond of restroom references, but this was not only done tastefully, it had impact and made me think about my own struggles with celiac disease and juggling the ever increasing ebb and tide of s**t ingredients we pack into our foods.

it certainly feels like life is getting that way.... layers of confusion, upon layers of perception, with layers of new tech, layers of trajectories, layers of history, layers of generations, layers of conditioning, layers of human mistakes made ... and here we all are!

Whatever we may think of this, here we will always be regardless. The truth is that I'd lie to myself more if it wasn't so painful in the long run. Civilization is a gigantic shared fantasy anyway... this place is insane. Human consciousness is one giant personality disorder . The species needs a f*****g therapist man. I guess that's why we invented religion, we're just trying to self medicate and the weed wasn't that great back then.
