cultural evolution

a bit of guilt

for life at any cost

so we hate that we love

to hate what we hate

to death at any cost

we can be demons

a devil eating devils

terminally aggrieved

forever the predator

we are capable,

we are able

like Arnold Schwarzenegger

but, we live an eggshell existence

forever searching

something fragile

more alone, and then together

stuck to a surface

afraid of the fracture

we plan accordingly

defining the human timeline

the brutal f*****g struggle

upon a breaking surface

battling for excess

at great loss

a bit of forgiveness

a little sacrifice

a bout of acceptance

a defeat of ambivalence

from an extremely cold existence

we can be demons

we can be angels

but both are lies

humans are humans

ideology is disguise

your jesus died for this

so we may rise again

not as demons

not as angels

but as perpetually less filthy humans

again and again...

humans making humans

f*****g religiously less filthy

ideology in disguise

Okey onto the writing...
You have quite the style, the abrupt curving nature of the chosen verbiage and meter signifies a startling prelude to the decline of sanity.
The voice within the poem echoes injustice and pain without ever placing the subjects in a direct crosshairs.
What is the meaning of the cycle of rebirth, does it exist, is religion just a f*****g tool to control the more docile of our herd?
Why give people the chance to fight against what is real, when you can have them endlessly debate and spill blood over an imaginary figure head who will lead them to a fantasy land of love and acceptance.
God forbid we attempt to find heaven on earth, nah... We can just wait to die for our rewards...
Or at least that is what the typical christian tells me.

Heaven and earth and hell are the same place, I think. We forget when we die/born either way.

I seem to remember we had some beef years ago, I do not remember as I have invariably fucked up my head and body every day since.

BUT....

Whether or not we did, and whether or not you troll other people, or not.
I could give a flying rat's a*s, honestly.

I only remember you because one of these "decent" people who "live" on this site messaged me after I had commented on your review of JayG's writing...

They had lots to say about how I should not interact with you, and I am one hundred percent convinced that people nowadays need to get air holes drilled in they skulls.

Keep doing you, mate, even if that "you" has a dash of toxicity to it...
I respect that you do not cow-toe or pander to their precious bubbles of quantified sanctity.
Keep pushing against the grain, just keep being you.
Because you know what... Being hated is not necessarily a sign of evil, not all hero's swear allegiance to the American ideal of hypocrisy.

Also... To any and all who block/message/troll me for attempting to be nice to David, or anyone else you rotten gatekeepers do not deign worth kindness...
F off.

Also, I did not make this review in some bittersweet attempt to cover the past with pleasantries, if you still have an issue with me, feel free to continue having those issues with me.

But as someone who also exits on the fringe, alone... Maybe you are not alone, who knows, I know I am though.
