You would think that a poetry website would take social media bullying, self harm and suicide more seriously.

Nah... just leave consistently nice replies to the brain dead pop writers here...  then you can get away with anything.  Try and induce real life suicide over some online non sense?  Totally cool here...  the pop writers on this site are absolutely okay with that.  They will even support it openly (and then pretend otherwise when the reality of it all hits).

I'm not letting this go.  You people should be ashamed.  And I know for a fact you will let it happen again.  

That people on this site pander to people like Divya/doodley in spite of aggressive, serious and open calls for another writer to commit suicide...  ugh.  Trash.  The pop writers here are pure trash.

I know that you will remove this comment, but I will make it anyway. The people whose minds are screwed up enough to commit suicide don't need encouragement and the support of poetry websites to do it. Sensible people don't take poetry that seriously.

Why do you "know" I will remove this comment? That is not something I regularly do. And if you really think that online bullying/suicide campaigns are to be taken likely and just "ignored" because YOU take things in a certain way... well, I think that is a myopic view and oblivious one not to mention a potentially dangerous one. People who take that stance do more to enable this kind of thing. In a perfect world no one would take s**t people like divya seriously... but that is not reality. Last year around 50,000 people committed suicide in the US. But yeah, it's something we shouldn't take seriously. Never get a job in any medical field. Ever. For any reason.

My comment did not address bullying. If we all view things the way you do, it means that we would fight against everything people write that we don't like. And we certainly will not like everything others write. Here's another point. When you watch a violent movie that includes murder and suicide, do you reason the same way? So

Your logic is pure victim blaming. Movies are movies, people personally and publicly attacking others over long periods of time is NOT the same thing. You're saying people "screwed up enough to commit suicide..." do so because they aren't "sensible people". You are saying people who commit suicide don't deserve empathy? That it couldn't possibly have been avoided? That we shouldn't stand up to people like Divya and just hope whoever she is attacking isn't prone to suicide? What the f**k is wrong with you? Ugh. Your view is based in ignorance and weakness. People like Divya should be exposed or behavior like that will not only continue because she now thinks it's acceptable but it will escalate. People like that shouldn't just be ignored - they need to be exposed. Pretending it doesn't do real harm and will just go away if ignored is naive. Painfully naive. Also... doesn't your profile say you never get involved with s**t like this? Hmmm... you don't have a real consistent thought process it seems.
