bad relationships stain your soul

so you should run while you can

before you ruin yourself

 

if you need to

 

   they don't need to understand

 

the direction that we run

 

hit the road...

and be careful with who you share with

from now on,

we should not waste this the next time

we should not become stains upon existence

I wish I had taken this advice at 28. Staying in a bad relationship because no one in my family had ever been divorced before, and I thought there must have been something wrong with me to incur his wrath, so I tried harder and harder to please, all to no avail. Stains and scars are the memories, I look back and can’t remember any good times, the bad outweighed everything. Life’s too short for misery. Yes,hit the road.

We live for other people too often. Humans in general don't love themselves enough. It's easy to get trapped when your family frowns upon giving up on obvious relationship mistakes after marriage. It's good to be loyal, it's good to give people a second chance and sometimes then some but... we have to respect ourselves at the end of the day, if something continues to fail... if the results are always the same... we need to find a new question to ask, but some questions don't really have answers. They are just a******s.
