geeze.. it sounds like a per-pubescent girl.. I suppose it could be a boy as well.. having never been a boy I wouldn't know for sure.. we go through a lot of disguises before we find one that works for us.. however.. in my lifetime I have been many things.. and always seemed to find the proper costume to fit the character.. I liked this one.. I had to read it several times.. it's more complex than meets the eye..

It might really be something much more foreign though. We may never die, "we" might just forget. It takes Time to forget... it takes time form memory. You should check some Luis Cole... I love that guy.
On the surface, this one seems to be about change, but the question is, change to what? I get the feeling that it is saying that even with change we remain ambivalent, "a lot of neither." Apparently, we remain forever in uncertainty.

Part of this is about us as humans and our floating "will power". You don't have to be insane to change drastically over a short period of time... but from the outside, the world is not the same. There is a line from an Adele song "we care so much about what people we'll never meet" or something like that, I can't remeber it off hand... she's wayyyy better with the words than I am. I will get back to you on that though.... You will like this poem better after listening to that song

Our reactions change over time to things that are pretty much just different forms of the same exact thing. I like to wear different masks when I interact with the world now, it might be their place but this is my f*****g time, "everyday is halloween" to me
