time is impatient

it waits for no one

space is forgiving

it takes to all shapes

time is ruthless

it only leaves you

space is gracious

it will only form you

time is heavy

and

space is empty

and we are lucky

for all this time in the space

we all are lucky

we can weigh time in this place

Time is impatient and can also be cruel, as you say it waits for no man, the clock is constantly ticking. Space these days for me represents an empty page when the words won’t come. It’s not wise to linger there too long. That’s where your lines took me. Ta for the Stones. My era:)

I like to think of space as our friend and time as our purpose. They don't always get along, but in the middle, we can all be friends for a little while at least. Time will eventually kill us all and space will deal with the leftovers.

Sometimes for me the passing things make the real life version of our lives more bearable. From the outside, it's hard not to see that most of what goes on is just imagined purpose to keep our minds off the fact that, outside of a few bedrock occupations... most of us just exist to exist for the sake of existence.
