Fire Bird

the ego is worth crumbling

decentering, declawing

occasionally worth breaking

shattering to the core

debasing, berating

violently smashing 

  into constituent pieces 

for the restarting, the redefining

the rearming, the great rebuilding

   as all ego is transient

a fantasy, a delusion 

   another main charachter syndrome 

 

but the pieces are permanent 

  in the rubble is you

the whole is irrelevant

  the parts induce the secret 

you are how you put this together

 

as disaster can define us

how we take it can show us

       things otherwise unseen

 we are what lies inside 

deep down in a fragmented foundation

not the actual god damn structure 

let that thing burn to the f*****g ground

if you can rise from the ashes

you can build something better

if you can rise from the ashes

you can live through finer structure
