Ambivalence

Ambivalence

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

indifference and ambivalence are not synonyms.

"
uncut ambivalence is not healthy

so hard line the hope

and leave the misery behind

the fact you're gonna die

please know to live before you cant

so you might cry less

while you orgasm so quietly to life

in between the dreams

of ecstasy and disaster that never came true

do it out loud at least once to your mundane

before your last indifference

it is important to dissect your ambivalence

or you will never know

what you never had

who you really were before you couldn't be

before the burden of a life's responsibility

To live before you can't. It's so hard to leave misery behind. It burrows into you and takes hold.

Good read.
