Makes living seem futile in a way, but I'm not complaining. We are all born and we all die, it's what we do inbetween that decides our worth and to whom. Most come and go without any fuss. Maybe they make a difference to their relatives and friends. Some will blaze a trail. It's always been that way. Raises that whole mind blowing question that no one can answer, why are we here? Thought provoking write.

Most people think it's some kind of death event but that won't be the case.... slowly, you will lose your identity because slowly you will lose your ability to remember things. Eventually, we all get "restarted". Dead or Alive.... what we call consciousness probably has nothing to do with what we think it does. In our next life... I'm going to find you one or another.

(that sounded darker than it was supposed to sound)
I can think of worse things than death. In our next life? You have insider information then Dave ?

Unless you wanna wrestle...? I love me some good old fashioned combat.
Hi Dave, I wanted to comment on one of your poems and finally I got the opportunity.
It remains unknown to us that the soul exists and heaven and etc or they are just the imaginations of our ancestors. An Iranian Poets wrote this poem about life:
"Life is our unique artistic stage
Everyone sings their song and leaves the stage
But the scene stands still"
Wish you the best my friend.

We are born, we live our life, and we die... it's the circle of life. We are all born to die, and we are all born to achieve great things in this life. We have to work at it though before it's our time to go. Thanks for sharing this candid piece of writing!

It’s interesting to me that your poem speaks of the hopelessness and futility of life, but the accompanying video is a song of hope and belief in meaning beyond death. Maybe I’m interpreting both incorrectly.
