To everything there is a purpose
an opposite of all is none the negative and positive
it's how we exist we need
the bad and good. the clean
and filth of life..if we only
had positive and good there
we'd all be the same
a perfect unison bore
would be nothing to strive for

(you still lack the heat) ..... that's a good thing.... that means you're not a crazy person

Wow, your use of antonyms in your poem shines gloriously! We do need dirty in order to make it clean. Without an up there is no dowm!, you can not be good without first learning what it means to be bad! So right you are, yet we never think about it that way... now do we? No! Thanks for sharing an eye opening poem, i enjoyed reading it!
Everything depends on everything else; the good, the bad, clean ,dirty ,etc...it makes you think about what is important in life; you weigh these things in you mind... it's always the chicken-egg thing.
Opposites attract!
Best, B
Good/bad, clean/dirty, imprisoned/free, kind/nasty, ugly/beautiful. There's an opposite for everything. I thought of what's dirty in my life. Well my car needs a good clean and my windows aren't looking great. There's definitely no filth though. Meet my mum and dad.

It's weird when you apply that thought to the concept of beginning and ending, if you can't have one of those without the other then that might mean infinity just might be a possibility.
Thanks for stopping by Chris, it's always good to hear from you.
