The Door

The Door

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
You held for me
Something we talk about
Wide, very wide open
Something exotic
A key to a lock
A language nobody speaks
Something, very...
Simply complicated
In between the word
Describing worlds
Up the mountain
We pass the time
Out of context
Shuffling frames of mind
Making Purpose,
Traversing Pain
Because why not?
Good sense is free
You show to me

Closed doors remind me of darkness. Open doors let in the light. The natural environment speaks to me far more these days than people do. That is the overall feeling your words have given me. Probably wide of the mark of what you intended, but that is my contribution for what it's worth. Your posted image puzzled me. Maybe because I couldn't see clearly what it was. Fire and darkness though, are my kind of hell.
