Time, from birth to death and all that's in between. For some a lengthy life, for others it is over before it has barely begun. Your posted image spoke to me about the unfairness of it all. Some get a comfortable easy ride, others suffer terribly. We get what we get. Some of us can alter the pathway and make it better, most can't. We blossom and bloom like a bud on a rose and then we tincture, decay and are gone. Doesn't that sound so terribly depressing when it is condensed like that.

The terror really is terrifying and it happens to more of us than people like you and me think. We got lucky, relatively speaking... it is so much worse for so many people. It breaks me down, truly, to my knees when I think about it. What we call basically happy is a winning lottery ticket to the vast majority of the world. Time is the great equalizer , because everyone dies. And that is depressing but... such is life. The sunshine and rainbow people are only like that because they don't know any better. But I still love them because, it's important to be optimistic... hope is more important than and more useful than despair. I'm sorry for being a downer here.
