I am not sure though but I think you meant to say that hope is achieving something which is beyond our reach. Though constant effort can or can not make it achieve but today is the day which is bearing the brunt for tomorrow's hope.

You can't really have hope without the darkness though. There is a balance I think modern humans are naturally out of sync with. Too much hope, too much brightness, too much expectation... the darkness is no longer familiar on any level. Not even as a shadow.
