This probably isn't what you intended, but your little piece of brevity made me think of drowning. Those who drown themselves, and we have that near where I live, where people choose to end their lives in the river, they have lost the meaning of the outside altogether. They are trapped inside.

That actually was kind of a part of where that thing came from. The other day I was reading about how the Irish, when they commit suicide, drown themselves more often than any other society per capita. This is ultimately not supposed to be about that but the topical theme definitely comes from self drowning. It's kinda weird that you picked up on that so fast. I did not expect something like that.

My mind can be weird. I am a person who loves the river. It gives and it takes. I often ponder on the thoughts of those who deliberately walk into the water to end it all. I also think on how long it takes to drown and what it would feel like.

There's a movie called "The Lost City of Z" from I think 2016 that I think you might like.

Wanting to know what it feels like to drown would probably be classifiable under one kind of mental condition or another. You might have been a serial killer in another life.

Ted Bundy sometimes would strangle his victims, then revive them, just to strangle them again and again and then pretend he was there to help them... and then do unspeakable things to barely concious women. So, Ted Bundy, you should dress up as Ted Bundy. He too had a thing for oxygen restriction.

Being a sketch book addict, I believe that being immersed in oneself is a necessity for artistic creativity.

I think you're right. But we always remember that being completely apart of one thing means you have sacrificed a degree of perspective upon other things en masse. It's one of the most common tradeoffs... being good at one thing means you can't be as good at another. Seeing one thing very clearly means other thing's will inherently be out of clear view. No one thing can focus on everything.

Define yourself from the inside, but never fear the outside. The mix of the two is what living really is. If you get trapped in one though, you will die never knowing the truth.
