what's not an excuse for day drinking

overt trouble making

general dumb assery

unformed stupidity

abandonment

tom foolery

f**k tardedness

a*s clown faced buffoonery 

unreasonable reason's

for self serving disposition's ,

confronting weakness requires failure

finding excuses to stop making excuses

behind the disaster's

finding the root causes 

beneath the skin

to form product

truly

out of pain

necessarily

 

i try to say,

to forever dissever

the ego from it's wall's

to make a garden

of your greatest beauty

obviously

... requires something ugly

undeniable

unavoidable

very pure

unsavory

honest and unassailably . . .

not very spectacular 

on the regular

 on the regular

each and every day

    to become clean 

    you must first see what's f*****g filthy

I like this poem. It's frank and unapologetic but has a very good message about self-care and self-improvement. I would agree with everything that it expressed here.

Is that Michael Jordan? He was a pretty incredible athlete. I like people who hold themselves and others accountable for their shortcomings. Brutal honesty is important to bring out people's best.
