Sand Beneath Water

I'm not entirely sure what I mean with this one, but that's not always such a bad thing.

fact's all the way up through to the deepest cracks
they made up our minds before we were born, also fact's
we idiot's and f*****g genius's
and all that's in between
it's all the same to me, we don't see
any of that very really clearly
how the winds rhyme very passionately dry mostly just in our minds

inside the desert's of our bodies just outside the local swimming hole

is water staring back at me, preparing me, probably

to get back out and swim some more
