animals are gonna animal humans will forget always to remember this that violence that they all came from still animals are gonna animal we just do it that much better now how we put the human now into the animal and it makes us so much more personable another person out of an animal
"an animal is gonna animal" -- haha -- both humor and a statement are made here, and I like it! I think of the many personifications of animals I've read, and though that's okay to read, I get a bit angry when some people put clothes on their cats and such. I think nature and her animals should remain as they are, even the domesticated parts. Clothes on cats is going too far, imo.
But your poem is very pleasing. I read it several times to eke out meaning in the images and I think I got some good ones. Wild things continue, even in our houses. We're animals too, after all. Thanks for sharing your poetic thoughts here.

I'm a pretty big fan of feline species, to the point where my roommate is a 9 year old F3 Savannah Cat named Dennis. I totally agree with the pet-clothes thing, animals in clothes usually look miserable. Dennis my Savannah Cat truly is a magnificent creature, but I sometimes regret having had him domesticated as my pet... the 15% African Serval part of his bloodline is unlike anything I've ever personally encountered in a house pet and probably something that belongs in the wild and not my living room. In a way I'm not much better than those a******s who put clothes on regular cats.

Didn't you ever see or here of ... oh what's the name ... "Homeward Bound," about 2 dogs and a cat who traveled many miles to reach their people. A true story, too. I'd love to see photos of Dennis. You see now? You're much better than the a******s who make their cats do what they call "Cat Cosplay" - ugh.

Good point and slightly humorous, an enjoyable read.
