Text vs Texture

I can see the real
Though know not what moves it

There is touch I feel
Though its source eludes me

I can hear the deal
Though understand not its purpose 

And in all I've found
Through my own abyss
Still I cannot tell
 who it is who's looking
 if beyond the text
 that there is true texture
 if underneath the surface
 things like that they even matter
