Is the version another lie to us because of our own simplistic perception? (That was an actual question)
Yes, I can see where you are going with the universe surrounding us - deeper truth bit - the everywhen, the here the now, the past, the present, the all, it is all the truth - I think its te entanglement of layer upon layer upon layer of human BS that makes everything so confusing.
I read a quote today ....
'When you see the extraordinary beauty of the earth, its rivers, lakes, mountains (or child), what actually takes place? At that moment the very majesty of the mountain makes you forget yourself. You don't exist, only that grandeur exists. Beauty is, where you are not.' Krishnamurti
Is this one of those cracks where we can know truth?

I'm not actually an atheist, but I don't believe we are built in such a way that we will ever understand the nature of the deeper meaning of the universe we inhabit. The only chance at truth lies in the sciences, physics and mathematics in particular, organized religion is just another form of social coercion.
Deeper than whats in between of reality and illusions surrounding the very core of existence, or the facade of time itself. I really love how you focus with all intensity and asking questions to the truths without asking but knowing. Loved the line "everything that is seen to us
Is just another version of a lie to us." The truth is rarely simple yet this does not mean to give up on truth I feel this message inside your poem. Keep writing sincerely your friend in poetry and life
its a very existential poem and it is my favorite topic to write or discuss...the universal lie that is penetrated in each one of us is a cosmic conspiracy and it takes away the beauty of our being...our existence is an illusion
I believe that whatever we want to believe in is true for us and things we don't believe is a lie for us.
There is nothing more and nothing less. It's a world where good becomes bad and bad is sometimes good.
God exists or not nobody knows but I believe even if he is there or not this world is not controlled by any particular god. It's just energy, inertia and air pressure. people also believe that energy is another form of god. Now; could we justify that to be truth or a lie? Nice way of Poetic experience though :) Keep writing!
I understand your feelings about religion. There have been and still are many atrocities committed in the name of religion. For me, it is about being spiritual. What does that mean you might ask? I don't know for sure but just a feeling, an intuition that I have from time to time. I did have very vivid, separate, ethereal dreams about two people that passed away, who I was extremely close to. It gave me the feeling that they were trying to communicate to me from " the great beyond". Could have been just a dream but to this day I can see still the brilliant light surrounding them and in both dreams I was being either lifted up or spinning topsy turvy by a very warm strong wind. Just sayin',......

There is a lot more to this world than we can see, but it isn't organized and anyone who claims to have the "ultimate" answer is a liar. That's a gimmick those who happened to be power at the time came up with. I look at things logically, that is my god - knowledge, logic and doing what doesn't hurt those around you. I've read the bible front to back more than once, and that isn't what it really preaches.

The ultimate truth is that God breadth his soul into every man that was born, that are we souls living in this body, that this body will age and die but the soul will not, never. Discover God in your lives to discover the ultimate truth, ultimate reality, .......

There's no objective reason to believe in that stuff and more often than not throughout history religion has been the foundation for prejudice, terrorism, hatred and violence. Only very recently in history's timeline did it become more civil which speaks to it's true origins more than anything.

But Christianity is more than just a religion. It is not an empty belief in a falsehood. It is a belief in the one true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I know you don't believe such things, but I'm quite certain one of these days, you will find out that God does exist.
Take the Crusades, for example. The Catholic Church regularly in those days tried to strongarm people into the church because in that day, the church was both state and church. There were no other belief systems, and if there were, and they were found out about, they were burned at the stake and other punishments for witchcraft. Kind of like in the Salem Witch Trials. But Catholicism is as much a cult organization as the JW and the Mormons are.
But people THINK these cults are Christian belief systems BECAUSE they have not studied to show themselves approved before God. They may sincerely BELIEVE they are following God, but in reality they follow lies of the evil one.

Wouldn't you have to look down on me without really knowing anything about me? That's why I don't really have that much respect for religion, it narrows your scope of interest and forces you to make choices you wouldn't have to make as long as your a fundamentally moral person.

Where did it originate. Is everyone fundamentally moral? From the sad sack state of this world, I'd have to disagree.
And you're right about that too. Believing in Christianity is a choice. Just like being a Catholic, or a Muslim, or an atheist, or an agnostic. But if you truly understood the tenets of Christianity on a spiritual level, instead of the physical, evidential one, you would understand that it IS more than religion. It's a faith. A faith in what you can't see. But I can't explain that to you because you, in a manner of speaking, are limiting yourself as well by the evidential mindset you currently have. It's a spiritual thing, not a mind thing. The mind cannot understand the things of God nor can it be subject to them. It's a carnal viewpoint.
