Know For Now Enough

Know For Now Enough

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

"Ruptured through the walls they did not know existed" hellraiser… (the leviathan)

"
I do not know all the colors of this universe
A mind for numbers
A mind for words
Literacy through numeracy
I do not know all the numbers of the universe
A life through death
A life through chance
Evolution through attrition
I can not know all the reasons for existence
I am alive
I am for now
Presence through ascension
I can never know all that brought me here
A reality shown
A reality hidden
The real seen simply through a shadow
We can never know all the colors of this universe
We can never see what it is we really are
Sans suffering
Sans payment
Of our dear flesh
Of our dear tears
Of all our dreams
Of all that makes us... truly human
We first must die to see

I really love this write, Dave. It is most thought provoking like so many of your poems and it also has wonderful rhythm to it almost like a chant. The words are very poignant and one finishes reading knowing that there are still so many questions left unanswered but out of our control so no need to stress over it.

Hmm. There is room for your belief system in my logic. I will never lean towards it but it doesn't.. read more

We will never really know the unknown. I enjoyed this. Good Job.

First off nice with the Hellraiser " Taste our pleasures! No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering." existential crisis questioning the very cocoon that filters our your eyes of observation through wavelengths accommodating each other by emotions not at war but a quiet war with oneself. The line " The real seen simply through a shadow
We can never know all the colors of this universe
We can never see what it is we really are." reminds me of Marcus Aurelius said once " Carried through existence as through rushing rapids." sincerely your friend in writing and life

I do respect your point of view. If you will allow me to share mine, let me share you this.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27) There is life after death, there is heaven and hell.
