Don't Be Afraid

so fearful
it makes you vulnerable
with so much panic
it will always cost you

when it matters

so goes safety
what can be risky

in another way

and making strength
what can be painful

in a gainful way

so goes weakness
what does degrade us

all eventually

and in the middle
lies a hunter
with a calm hand
a sound mind
and a better view
 of what always happens

to me and you

we pack of humans

us group of... animals

it's all the same

don't be frightened

"We pack of humans" speaks what I've long believed. We're the greatest protectors, and the most lethal predators on this planet. We shouldn't fear what we don't know, if it prevents us from discovering truth, the truth about ourselves. My fear comes from what I know about myself, mostly notably weaknesses I'll never share. A good lesson and deep reflection in a poem.
